- Upgrade on Chinese steels in December included pipes, welding rods and electrodes, carbon steel wires, high resistance alloys for electrical heating, and a large variety of nickel alloys.
- ASTM steels are updated with over 30 specifications --or over 50 including metric specs-- from the new 2007 standards collections.
- One completely new feature is added to KEY to METALS • Steel -- calculating carbon equivalent. This parameter, important for assessing weldability of ferrous alloys, is calculated by using an original, proprietary algorithm, and available for you by a simple mouse click from within the alloy properties windows.
